Mares
Everyone loves an amazing stallion, but a top mare is worth her weight in gold. When putting our program together, focusing on exceptional quality mares was my number one priority. Every pairing we create, is to improve the faults of the parents. We do sell broodmares from time to time when we have a replacement for our program.
SD My Way
**RIP**
I can't even believe I call this mare mine! I never thought she would be offered for sale! Dream big or go home LOL. This solid bay bombshell will forever call Kohls Cobs home! My Way is one of thee most beautiful mares I have ever had the pleasure of putting my hands on.
We lost My Way 12/30/2024 and blessed to have her son and daughter in our program to carry on her legacy with us. It was truly a blessing to own such a legend.

I have waited for 6 years to have a daughter by My Way and to have a bay and white one at that! We have her full sibling Paver, who is an amazing boy. Of all our pairings for 2024 this was exactly what I wished for and forever grateful to My Way for leaving my a daughter to carryon her legacy!

Kohls Skyline
I am so so elated to get a blue filly from Sky and Legacy! I was a 99.9% sure she was having a colt because she was massive! When I saw the foal come out, I was even more positive it was a colt because I have not seen fillies born that big with a mum on the shorter side. Well here is our first keeper foal from SD Legacy and will replace her mum in our program.

Kohls She's the Right Stuff
Boy, I got everything I wished for in this pairing! I sold her full sister from last year and prayed I would get a carbon copy of mum this year to replace Diva in the future. Sheba is a tighter build than her mum and has her sweet calm temperament. I believe she will be a big asset to our program and the breed for generations to come.

SD Dancing with Dixie
Dixie is one of those mares that is irreplaceable! We imported her when she was a yearling and she will forever be with us. Dixie is one heck of an amazing producer and the icing on the cake is that she is a blue roan sabino! Only a few in the world! Bred to WF Birthday Boy for 2026.

SD The Money Mare
This mare is in a league of her own and she is the daughter of the world famous stallion SD Woolly Mammoth. We could not be more proud to have this tank of a mare who puts most stallions to shame. We call this beauty Godiva since her coat is a rich chocolate color. Godiva will be going to our trainers at some point to get started under saddle. Godiva is having a Legacy foal in 2023. I can't be more excited about this pairing! We will retain a filly.

Very excited to have our first buckskin in our program! CeeCee is her barn name and comes from some great SD stock. We had bought a breeding to SD Avalanche and AI was not working for us, so we asked our good friends is we could lease GJW Success Day for a breeding season since she was in TX already and just down the road from Avalanche. With both parents color genetics we were guaranteed a buckskin! I have wanted to add my favorite color for 8 years and just had not had the right opportunity till this girl. CeeCee is broke to ride and was started on a cattle ranch by a youth. She is a gem and we are incredibly blessed to have her in our program. CeeCee is in foal to WF Birthday Boy for a 2026 foal.

Kohls Hot Stuff aka Hottie
I love this mare through & through! She is the result of line breeding Diva and Double Stuff. This filly is so calm and sweet, thick as a brick house and compact. Hottie has started basic saddle work and was started under saddle by a child:) Hottie was bred to The Duke for a 2026 foal. Hottie's first foal was a stunning colt by Harry and then she gave us a bay Sabino finely in 2025. So here is hopes to a filly in 2026 which I will retain and sell Hottie. Hottie will continue her saddle training through her pregancy.

I kid you not, I have waited 5 years for a foal from SD Emma! So here she is! An amazing filly that is calm, sweet and is turning into a BIG girl, already. Pictured at only 22 months old and is exceeding my expectations. Panda has not had a lick of feather care and lives out on pasture 24/7. Panda is started under saddle and gaining experience and is usually the leader on rides as well as can cover some ground. Panda is in foal to WF Birthday Boy for 2026!

SD Cream Queen
This beautiful mare came over in early 2023! She was a surprise from Janey as she knew I always wanted a golden girl! She was bred by Steve's family and I do not know her parentage. Queen is paired with Harry for 2026! We are retaining this foal but will be offering Queen for sale. Queen is broke to ride and continue her training till she is too far along in her pregnancy. We are happy to do payment plan till she is ready to leave when her foal is weaned.

DGR Sweet Caroline
From the first time I saw Sweets full brother DGR White Knight I told John he needed to repeat the breeding and I was first in line for a filly. So I got Sweets and paired her with Legacy to get his height up in the foal. Sweets is a big mare, awesome rainbow neck and is a real powerhouse.
Sweets is in foal to SD Legacy for 2026 and will be offered for sale in 2026 as we are cutting back. Sweets has had 90 days at the trainers and is continuing her training here at Kohls Cobs. Sweets is a sensitive mare that is very forward and can work hard all day. Best suited for an intermediate rider.

When DC was born, I had offered her for sale for a short period and then came to my senses LOL, well, no one jumped at the chance, which I am ever grateful for as now we retained her to replace her mum Dream. DC is a chunk of a filly and gonna be one amazing mare. I know the mare she will become, and they don't come around very often! Kohls Oh My
Oh my did my dreams come true! I swore Nala was gonna have a colt because she was just HUGE towards the end of her pregnancy. So when June was born, I did not lift the tail right away because I had it in my head it was a colt. Not only did I get a filly, I got a BUCKSKIN filly! Our first homebred buckskin. We sold the buckskin son we had out of Nala, and happy to have a daughter of hers.

Kohls Destiny
Destiny aka Charm is a stunning blue blagdon filly that will add another top notch filly to our program. Charm's grandparents are incredible and Charm's sire is the icing on the cake. I regretted selling Charm's brother from Red Adair who was also a Harry son, so I was blessed to get this girl out of Dynasty. Charm is as tall as our two year olds, and defiantly take after her grandsire Double Stuff and will be paired with Stallone in the future.

I started down the western road with Oreo and fell on love with it. Oreo does try, but he will never be able to compete against the QH's in reining & cows. So, I am adding a few TOP QUALITY mares to our family that I will show/ride & breed after they are proven in the ring. I fell in love with Poppy when I went to TX to meet some horses to find the right fit.

That's it for our work force!
That about sums up our program. We have selected these Gypsies each for a reason, each for a purpose, each for what our eye loves. They will not be perfect, but we are working hard to keeping to the breed standard in which the Romani Gypsy people have formed over the years. We are staying on the smaller side of breeding, under 30 head because we can't give them the attention they deserve if we are too big. We want to offer personalized training for our stock that fits the needs of our customers. There are so many people out breeding to make money and earn back their investment. Breeding to light of body, no bone, light feather, course heads, etc... Breeding stock should be only the best. It doesn't matter if you buy a horse from us, or the breeder down the road, just do your homework, ask lots of questions, and enjoy the heck out of your Gypsy!!
Happy Trails:)
